Vedett aims to position itself as the go-to beer for gamers, creating a strong association between the brand and gaming culture.
To achieve this, Vedett partnered with Adshot to organize the “Become a Gaming Vedett(e)” CS2 tournament. Six selected Vedett ambassadors, including Espe, Laagvliet, Manonolita, CasualGorrila, Abulic, and Packam, competed for the title of the first-ever Gaming Vedett(e). Each formed a team to face off against one another, showcasing their gaming skills and Vedett’s brand.
To promote the tournament, the ambassadors engaged their followers through warm-up streams on Twitch. These streams featured continuous branded content, including the tournament logo and chat spawns. In total, 48 warm-up streams were conducted, generating anticipation and excitement for the main event on April 26, 2024.
In addition to the tournament, Vedett and Adshot organized a giveaway, inviting the audience to participate in a mini-game for a chance to win prizes, including Vedett Care Packages and SteelSeries Gear. This interactive element not only enhanced audience engagement but also provided additional opportunities for viewers to connect with the Vedett brand.
The campaign garnered a total of 185,188 live views, with the tournament finale attracting 25,926 live views. Promotional content, including Instagram Reels and Stories, achieved over 500,000 impressions. Two shoutcasters, Dikkesvekke (Dutch) and Chloe (French), provided commentary, enriching the viewing experience. The Vedett Care Packages were also enjoyed by the participating creators, who showcased them on stream by drinking Vedett.
